Winged Heart YogaWinged Heart Yoga is committed to teaching yoga to everyone who wants to try it out. Chrissy Mignogna started Winged Heart Yoga with the idea that no one should ever be excluded from taking yoga classes because they are intimidated by yoga studio or health club environments.
The idea for Winged Heart Yoga came when Chrissy’s teacher certification process required her to teach a yoga class to a population that may not otherwise be exposed to yoga. As a mom of three small children, Chrissy realized that many parents won’t go to yoga studios or join gyms because they need childcare for young children and feel intimidated by studio and club environments. With this in mind, she approached her daughter’s preschool and asked to use a room in the church to teach yoga to the parents while their kids were in class. Both the church and parents were excited at this prospect, and soon Chrissy was teaching multiple classes a week to men and women of all ages. Everyone benefits from focusing on mindful breath while moving through yoga postures. The platform of Winged Heart Yoga is that this restorative, meditative practice is truly for every body. Certification and training
Chrissy Mignogna, E-RYT 200 (experienced registered yoga teacher), is a member of Yoga Alliance. Chrissy is Lead Trainer and Director of Education for MoveMindfully®. She completed the YogaFit® 200-hour RYT certification program, is certified in Energy Medicine Yoga®, TRE® (Tension, Stress and Trauma Release) and Yoga Calm®. Additionally, Chrissy is trained to teach children’s yoga through YogaFit, Made to Move and Learning Tree Yoga and senior yoga through YogaFit.

Tuesday: 7 – 8 p.m.
Thursday: 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
Saturday: 8 – 9 a.m. (When in-person, Class is held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 104 S. Snelling Ave.)
Thursday: 2 – 3:00 p.m. Senior Chair Yoga (free offering)
